First week in December
Everyone will be planning their movements and activities early in the month, so acknowledge the season with a notice of your operating hours and a wintry scene.
Second week in December
Publish content around your strategic direction for the coming year. When you are horizon scanning, what are your big threats?
In the financial services sector, it might be the value of sterling or the market’s direction of travel due to Brexit uncertainty. In accountancy, there could be changes to tax coming up in April. In law, you may want to talk about different regulations likely to come into effect and their subsequent impact. Longer and more complex topics would benefit from a blog series published over the course of the week.
Third week in December
Before your clients disappear from social media for the season, it’s a great time to thank them for their custom this year and to wish them season greetings for December and the New Year.
Final week of December
This is the perfect time to recount your organisation’s successes of the year. How many telephone calls, new clients, projects completed? A year by the numbers in a snappy infographic is a great way to tout your organisations success and recognise your team’s achievements. Re-purpose the infographic for your internal year-end “Thank you” email to staff.
